Retina Specialty Institute faces a unique challenge. As a sub-sub specialty group, many of the services it provides concerning retinal conditions applies to a very small percentage of the local community seeking care. As a result, RSI's need to awareness was unique in that many of their patients are from referrals-only.
The institute approached idgroup to help increase awareness with referring physicians and potential patients and manage their expansion. Idgroup conducted a core dialogue facilitation and identified a need for rebranding to better promote their clinical research and product development. The institute engaged idgroup to help define their strategic focus, create a brand identity and direct their communications strategy.
By utilizing our Branding from the Core facilitation with the staff and all physicians, idgroup uncovered the institute's brand story, creating a plan to establish the institute as they truly were - a cutting-edge team of nationally-recognized researchers who provide state-of-the-art retinal care that draws patients from throughout the Southeast. We developed brand awareness campaign and a communications plan to strengthen the physician referral network as the company expanded throughout the gulf coast.
In addition to external marketing efforts, idgroup also helped in conducting internal assessments to improve systems and processes, patient satisfaction and organization development. The resulting partnership helped RSI to grow into two new locations, allowing opportunity to serve a wider range of patients.
